Profile

I have over 20 years of experience both living in China and studying the culture, language and customs.

My university degrees (M.A.) are from Berlin (Free University), Shanghai (Fudan University) and Taipei (Fu Jen University) in Sinology, Economics and Communication Science.

My business background, within the Asia Pacific region, includes export and commercial project management as well as the ground-laying for joint ventures between large Chinese and German corporations.

I am a certified intercultural trainer to the standards of dgikt e. V. (Deutsche Ges. f. interkulturelle Trainingsqualität) and licensed consultant for TIP (The International Profiler).

From 2005 to 2008 I resided in Zhuhai, Southern China, with my husband and two children. I am a passionate fan of Chinese cuisine and have an in-depth knowledge of the cultural aspects of Chinese food.

Professional exchange and networking are essential for me: I am the director of the regional chapter Stuttgart of SIETAR Deutschland e.V. (Germany) and I coordinate the establishment of Power Teams for EWMD Germany, chapter Baden-Württemberg.

My greatest concern is to develop customized training for you: high practical and direct applicability of the contents for your daily work is my main goal. My training methods include group work, role play, discussions, case studies, short presentations, cultural simulations and film sequences.
